WW2 to Rifle Brigade P.O.W. in Germany - envelope returned after V E Day ?

was returned unopened or brought back with him dated May 17th 1945 by which time Frank was hopefully back home
His mothers Address was in Fieldhaven Rd, Streatham Vale , S.W.16
Rifleman Frank Harris 1st Battalion Rifle Brigade attendant 2nd Armoured Division Service number 6,9146,698 , it is noted his Mother had heard he was a Prisoner of War in Italy on July 12th 1941 , no date of his capture . He was held at Italian Campo P.G. no 70 Fonte D'Dmore . Sulmona , Italy and later transferred to Stalag I.V.D. L 20 in Germany POW number 252,423 until the end of the War ,
