This is a very nice specimen consisting yellowish masses or coatings of the rare mineral MENDOZAVILITE-NaFe on a matrix of grey MOLYBDENITE, QUARTZ, and black SCHORL tourmaline from the Rustler  Mine, Gold Hill Mining District, Tooele County, Utah, USA. The specimen is 3.7 by 2.3 by 2.1 cms in size. This is one of a number of specimens I collected decades ago and gave some to the late David Shannon for identification. He send a sample to the Smithsonian Institution where it was identified to be the world's second occurrence of MENDOZAVILITE.

You may greatly reduce your per item shipping and handling costs by acquiring more specimens from my auctions because I consolidate shipping. For all other countries shipping is by Air Mail and is $18.00 for the first item plus an additional $3.00 for each additional item.
