I 'received' this 'receiver' (always wanted to say that) from friends when they upgraded but I never installed it relying instead on my yamahonk 7.1 which is already tied into the spaghetti factory I call my av center.   I just put it through its paces and tested it with the remove and everything functions as it should, but I couldn't figure out how to make the front display brighter on the unit.   I stoopid.   Amazingly configurable allowing you to change just about every setting you can think of.   Excellent sound.  150w per channel, .09% distortion freq response 4 to 45K hz (not noted so +/- 5 db would be the standard and I am sure its much smaller in the human listening range - your dog or bat may not agree).   

Unit is really heavy weighing in at 50 lbs - 17x16x7 in dimensions - leave space for air flow.  Unit was installed once and moved once so nice cosmetic condition.

But again, front display is not bright and very well could be because I am not bright, but consider the front display not bright to set your expectations.    

Unit switches between RCA component (RGB/LR) inputs and has optical outs.    Using conversion cables you can hook up more modern gear.    With my newer 4k and my yamahonk I used optical connections because I wasn't ready to drop coin like they were to get the latest.   Plus my yamahonk sounds as good as it always has.   But....I don't think it is up to B&K standards.
