RIMOWA Vintage “Samba Nova” ’90 Board Case
Lightweight ABS resin case 35L Sapphire blue/white [Rare]
- RIMOWA vintage "Samba Nova" board case, 35L ABS resin case, Saphir-blau, Made in Germany. This is an extremely rare embossed sapphire blue item from the early 90's, with a pop of retro feel, but in very good condition.
●Although it has an ultra-light body made of ABS resin, it has higher security compared to Salsa because it opens and closes with a sturdy aluminum frame similar to an aluminum case, and has double protection with locking latches on the left and right (keys included).
*Current mainstream combination locks usually open in about 20 minutes (even for elementary school students) by turning a 3-digit number from 000 to 999. Also, if it has a zipper like Salsa, you can open it in just 2 seconds with a ballpoint pen.
●Compared to zip-around suitcases that can be opened in 3 seconds with a single ballpoint pen, the aluminum frame closes tightly for greater security.
●Condition is very clean with only slight signs of use and traces of use. There are no noticeable scratches or damage other than a few small scratches/dirt. It is strongly protected with contrasting white corner guards. This model does not have an inner liner. It has been stored in good condition, the resin itself shows no deterioration, and the interior rubber is in perfect condition. There are no functional problems with the opening/closing hinges, fittings, handles, or latches.
●A beautiful case with an embossed surface made of ABS resin that maintains a bright gloss.
●This is a samba sapphire blue that is very rare even in Germany and is rarely seen. I think it is a rare model with a light resin body closed with an aluminum frame and a high level of safety and practicality that has not been seen in Japan since it was not yet released.
