I believe this Faith healing booklet put out by first universalist Church was published in the very early 1920s. Possibly 1920 exactly. I acquired it in a downsizing auction along with many other vintage paper goods ranging from the late 1800s all the way through the 1960s. However, this particular booklet was sandwiched between other items from the 1920s that I do not believe have been touched in decades. Also, the terminology, the address and how it's written, and the paper itself leads me to believe that this is a 1920s religious spirituality booklet advocating for faith healing.

Sometimes when I find something like this that's a hundred years old and the philosophy is so far out of date, I'm not sure what to do with it. But it's important to remember how people think, how people used to think, and how prevalent this philosophy was at that time.

This would be fantastic for any collector of 1920s religious spirituality, people researching universalist philosophies or faith healing. It is a fascinating read regardless of your beliefs.

I was careful not to crease it, but I did give it a good old skim. Very interesting.

This booklet is 5 x 8 in, and in fantastic condition. It doesn't seem to be have read or barely opened. The pages aren't even bent at the staples. There are no marks or annotations in this booklet.
