This lot contains a nice clean complete running Hamilton 18 Size Model 944 Railroad 19 Jewel Pocket Watch Movement. This movement has NO hands and NO dial. The watch has a nice clean 19 jewel nickel open face model 944 movement. This movement winds, sets and ticks with brisk motion but soon STOPS. This was just removed from the watchmaker’s inventoried Hamilton movement cabinet. this is a stem wind in lever set desirable railroad movement for the serious Hamilton collector in dealer. I will sell this hard-to-find model 944 as NOT running. Only about 7,000 of these 944 movements were made.
