This lot contains a nice clean running and striking Swiss Quarter Repeating with Chronograph Pocket Watch Movement. This is a 21 ligne hunting movement with good stem, crown, black sweep second hand, blued sub second hand, good fancy minute and hour hands and genuine factory single sunk signed enamel dial with black Roman hour numerals and 1/5 of a second chapter ring. This watch movement does wind, set and tick with brisk motion. The movement is stem wind and lever set. The movement has a typical quarter repeating mechanism with sweep second chronograph. The movement does strike the hours and quarters. This movement was removed from an 18 karat gold hunting case. Although this watch does wind, set and tick with brisk motion, I will NOT guarantee the running of the movement. The watch was stored away for many years in the watchmaker’s safe. The movement is not jeweled to the hammers. We are finding fewer and fewer, mostly, complete quarter repeating pocket watch movements so do not miss it.
