SEX PISTOLS - NEVER MIND THE BOLLOCKS - ULTRA RARE - EMI 100 YEARS CENTENARY ISSUE.

Classic debut Album by simply the best band that ever existed, Never Mind The Bollocks with Steve Jones's wall of sound, Paul Cook's rock steady drumming and Johnny Rotten's snarling delivery set it head and shoulders above any rock record before or since.

Bollocks has stood the test of time and seems to get better with age, it's the benchmark that most bands aim for but never quite seem to achieve, it is quite simply the best rock album ever recorded and remains a true punk classic.

This limited and exclusive version of Bollocks was issued by EMI in 1997 to celebrate the company reaching its 100th year.

They issued 100 albums by 100 artists and obviously bollocks had to be one of the albums chosen.

This is the ONLY version of Bollocks to feature the Sex Pistols Residuals lettering on the rear, this was because EMI had to license the recording and as the Sex Pistols were no longer signed to virgin they had to deal with the Sex Pistols own company Sex Pistols Residuals, quite ironic that the company that sacked the band now had to pay the band to use their music.

The artwork supplied for the record labels was also the version with the incorrect vicious EMI credit, but to give credit to EMI despite the egg on their face they issued a top quality pressing of Bollocks.

Issued in a thick luxury card sleeve, pressed on heavy vinyl with direct metal mastering it is one of the best ever issues of Bollocks.........very rarely does this come up for sale now and not in this condition, record has a good sheen, a couple of light hairlines at most, sleeve is immaculate not even a bend on the spine, labels clean and fresh,  check out the photos and then grab this for your collection while it's here.
