This is a top-quality junior racing bike with 8 gears and drop handlebars. In great condition with new road tyres, pedals & bar tape, fully serviced. It's perfect for young riders who want to race, ride cyclocross, try a triathlon, tour or ride out with mum or dad. The bike is in excellent used condition, always kept indoors, well cared for and regularly serviced.  

Islabikes was founded in 2005 by triple British cyclo-cross champion Isla Rowntree and have been a reputable brand in the British cycling industry. They ceased manufacture at the end of 2023 so new bikes are no longer available.

The bike is not modified, has been serviced and new components fitted.

Children's sizing guide

Islabikes are carefully sized to ensure they are safe and comfortable to ride. To find out which Islabike is perfect for you please follow the guide below. 

Take the following two measurements.

Inside leg:

  1. The rider should stand with their back to a wall in socks, ensuring the feet are flat on the floor.

  2. Place a book between the legs.

  3. Slide the book up the wall until it contacts the crotch firmly.

  4. Mark the wall at that point.

  5. Measure from the mark straight down to the floor.

Height:

  1. Place the book flat on the head.

  2. Mark where the bottom of the book touches the wall and measure straight down to the floor

Next, consult our size chart to determine which bike is most suitable. Our minimum requirements for each model are ‘absolute’ so the rider must meet both height and inside leg minimums for a safe and comfortable fit.
