Description

This iron kettle is an unused iron kettle made in a kiln in Nara about 30 to 40 years ago. The lid is made of copper. Unlike other iron kettles, only the lid is made of copper to prevent water droplets from forming on the lid and causing rust when boiling water. The surrounding area has a pattern called ``Shiba Yose'', which is very rare. The white color on the inside is a rust preventive, indicating that it has never been used. Therefore, it is of course possible to use this iron kettle. This kiln in Nara has already been closed, so this piece is extremely valuable.
