1. Up for sale here is an antique pendant/small necklace case. It has a small loop attached to secure a pendant. The interior has a wonderful kingfisher blue silk lining and black velvet panel to hold the jewellery. This may have been a mourning jewellery case as is has black velvet, but the blue is quite vivid so it is more likely to have been designed to hold high quality evening jewels.

  3. The case is good and sturdy, the box opens and closes as it should. The outer lid is leather and there is scuffing to this, but nothing structural. The rest of the binding is coloured paper I think. Inside, genuine silk and velvet.
