Made for 1930s to 1940s Art Deco Style Ceiling Light Shades which hang from the fixture by 3 chains which fit through holes in the shade. Holds up to 30 pounds per chain. Chain slips through hole from underside, Ball fits against shade. Other end fits into a hole with a small narrow groove extending downward, is pulled down to hold chain in place.
