This is an original press photo. Cleota Reed, expert on Henry Mercer, ceramist 329 Westcott St., Syracuse (right off Genesee on south) Turn on Westcott; it's 5 houses up on left, with orange door. Sherry is writing a profile on the woman, her book, and the artist, whose work was important in the Arts and Crafts movement; her house has a fireplace with Mercer tiles. Ideally, Mrs. Reed in either her tiled breakfast nook or beside her tiled Mercer fireplace. It's a fascinating house. Picture of her and her own work also needed. Please also shoot a close up showing details of a Mercer tile. A closeup of one of the little ceramic characters in the little nook off of the kitchen. This rabbit is located next to Cleota's left eye in the other photo. Photo measures 7 x 9 inches. Photo is dated 04-07-1988.
