"I should like to attend Mr Gladstone's funeral on Saturday. Will you therefore send me a ticket to above address. I suppose we shall see all particulars in the papers"

Sir Frederick George Milner, 7th Baronet (1849 – 1931) British Conservative Party politician. Milner was elected as one of the two Members of Parliament for York at a by-election in 1883, but was defeated at the 1885 general election.
He was returned to the Commons at a by-election in 1890 as the MP for Bassetlaw, and held the seat for 16 years until his defeat at the 1906 general election. JP for the West Riding, Yorkshire and Deputy Lieutenant for the West Riding.
