This is a lovely and very unusual Wedgwood match holder.  Unfortunately there is a crack which runs in one line up the outside and down into the bowl inside.  The crack diverts inside the lip.  I've shown this in photos.  There is also a chip in the rim of the base but this does not affect how it stands.  Hence the low price.
