With the 60th anniversary of the Beatles' visit to Australia coming up in June 2024, this book is a timely and valuable find for collectors and fans alike.

This rare, 2005 first edition hardcover titled ‘The Beatles in Australia’ by Mark Hayward is a must-have for any fan of pop music or Australian music history.

With a vintage feel this book features 160 pages with one colour and many black and white photographs. Concentrates on the Adelaide leg of the Beatles tour of Australia in June 1964. Covers their arrival in Adelaide, reception at the Town Hall, press conferences and the 4 concerts in Centennial Hall.

With Ringo unwell, replacement drummer, Jimmy Nicol, played on this part of the tour.

Note that as either the print run number shows a number (1) one in it or the copyright and title dates match, this indicates that the book listed is a first edition.

As these items are pre-loved please expect there to be page discolouration, small marks, sticker marks from pricing labels, spine creasing and possible tears for aged books.
