product image

These old antique knobs are porcelain.

  • I have been collecting for 30 years and have never seen this shape done before.
  • There is a small omount of gold leaf on the grooves of the petals
  • They would add a charming beauty to your furniture.
  • These 1800's knobs have an small screw held into the center of the porcelain with white plaster of paris the way it was done in the 1800's, not glue or epoxy like they are now.
  • The screws are not centered perfectly and one  is slightly bent.
  • The knobs are in good condition.
  • They are NOT smooth and have a nice amount of specks in the glazing
  • There are blemishes, scratches and tiny casting flaws on glazing of the porcelain.
  •  There are no chips that aren't glazed over so they were there when they were made.
  •  The knobs are 1 1/8" in diameter
  •  1 1/8" deep with out the screw.
