This is a cool and cute MCM lacquered bamboo basket shaped bucket with a clear glass insert for ice cubes. Very sturdy basket frame!! Interesting carved details on handle and finial knob. All bamboo staves are intact, as is the veneer patterned lid. Clear glass insert is thick with polished rim. There is a small chip on outer rim but area is protected and not visible when insert is inside its bamboo basket frame. See next to last photo for chip.
