This auction is for a sweet miniature wooden box  Not sure the use.  Great patina....light brown.  Measures one inch tall....The top rests nicely on top but does not seal.  I do believe it is original to the piece, but you could not store something in it....more for your miniatures display, for which it would look great.  I would date this to 1920-30s....excellent condition ....please feel free to ask any questions.
