Press Photo Dresden china and art work to be featured on PBS documentary

"The Priceless Treasures of Dresden -- On Tuesday, June 27, at 9:00 p.m. (ET),* on the Public Broadcasting Service, the nation gets a televised look at The Priceless Treasures of Dresden, made possible by a grant from IBM, and produced by WNET/Thirteen, New York. The telecast was inspired by the U.S. tour of art masterworks premiering at the National Gallery of Art. The special was written by (clockwise from top left) Lou Solomon, directed by Sid Smith, shown with a Meissen figure of a dog, taped with paintings such as this view of Dresden by Bernardo Bellotto, and produced by Al Perlmutter, shown here next to a Chinese porcelain "dragoon" vase (so named because it was purchased with an exchange of soldiers.)Photo measures 8 x 10.25inches.
