The Marx Brothers were a popular comedy act on vaudeville from the 1910s... they began appearing frequently in films (along with brother Zeppo) with "The Cocoanuts" in 1929.  They starred in numerous classic comedy films including "Animal Crackers" (1930), "Monkey Business" (1931). "Horse Feathers" (1932), "Duck Soup" (1933), "A Night at the Opera" (1935), "A Day at the Races" (1937), "At the Circus" (1939), "Room Service" (1938), "Go West" (1940), "The Big Store" (1941), "A Night in Casablanca" (1946), and "Love Happy" (1949).  Groucho was host of the television game show "You Bet Your Life" in the 1950s.
