Screen Door Helper Spring Adjustable Closer Old Rustic Large 10 3/4" Vintage

product image

Put this helper spring on your screen door to help strengthen the spring hinges.

  • I put one on a shed door to keep it closed and latched to keep out the cold and wind
  • This helper spring would be great for a person renovating an old house and needs a spring to help make an existing set of hinges close stronger.
  • Likely made in the early 1900s.
  • It was stripped of old paint layers and most of its original black paint has come off as well.
  • Works on either left or right swinging door.
#1. Screw the ends fast to the door and trim
#2.Wind the spring with a spike or a nail set in the holes to the strength that you want to close the door.
#3. Place the removable pin into a hole to hold the spring.

  • It is 10 3/4" long from tip to bottom
  • 1 3/8" wide.
