Vintage H Stern 'Safira' Ladies 18K Gold Diamond & Sapphire Watch

Roman Numerals around the dial with one diamond at the 12 o'clock position and the date at the 6 o'clock position

The movement is made in Switzerland offering exceptional quartz movement precision.

Water Resistant to 200 foot

The case is cut and polished from a block of corundum (sapphire), the mineral is second only to diamond in hardness and durability. It is bonded to a base of surgical steel which seals it hermetically. The case blends elegant and comfortable design with unequalled resistance. The hands and crown are both 18k gold.

For a vintage timepiece, it is in great condition. There are some really minor marks to the face (I've photographed them as best I can) and scratches on the back of the casing.  However, the clasp does not catch, and remain closed. I have contacted 2 major online jewellers/watch repairers for quotes for repair/replacement and have been quoted between £25 - £45. I have reduced my original asking price of £400, to £300 to account for this.
