1951 Press Photo Princess Elizabeth with President Harry S. Truman in Washington

This is an original press photo. Princess Elizabeth, resplendent in tiara, sash and glittering gown, made quite an impression on the then President Harry S. Truman during her visit to Washington. The queen-to-be, on a tour of North america, was toasted by the president as a "fairy princess." Photo measures 6.5 x 9.5 inches. Photo is dated 11--1951.
