Vinyl Stickers are waterproof and UV-proof for 2 to 4 years depending on the amount of exposure. They are suitable indoors and outdoors, but they are not industrial strength or meant for use on walking surfaces.

Peel and place the sticker
Place something heavy on the sticker (or wrap it in rubber bands if you put it on a water bottle or other curved surface) for a couple of hours to ensure long-term adhesion.
