This great old letter slot is cast iron and would add a great historical beauty to you door.

• The spring loaded letter slot is heavy cast iron that will give your door with a look of sophistication and charm that very few others will have.
• A set of vintage screws is included.
  
• It has a brass spring to keep the letter flap closed.
• The exterior letter slot is cast iron and to prevent rust it should be painted
• It has turned a pleasing color with some light rust over time.
• The cast iron trim was stripped of all the layers of paint. 
• NO CLEAR FINISH WAS PUT ON SO IT WILL CONTINUE TO AGE OVER TIME.
• The interior trim is cast iron 
• The letter slot is 7" long 
•  2 1/4" tall. 
• The slot opening is 4 3/8" long and 1" tall.
• 1/2” thick
• The interior trim is 7” long
