This is a great compact metronome for your studying of music to help you stay on beat, and in perfect TIME! This is a compact one, typically used for junior high age children, which it will fit easily in the instrument case.  It is also convenient that you can hook in a pair of earbuds / headphones so you can hear that beat in your head without anyone else hearing it. So, it technically could be used for performance purposes.  As far as I can see there are no surface imperfections, and I did test it with AAA batteries, and it is in perfect working condition.   Please check out my photos for more details.
