WWII M-43 10th Mountain OD Ski Parka Anorak Jacket, M-47 M-48

This is an original GI issue anorak parka. I don't know if it's part of the M 1943 series of uniforms or if it's some version of the M47 or M48 parka. The jacket is in very good shape, but it has that hole in the top of the right shoulder that you see in picture 4. The leather reinforcing disc on the left collar for the drawstring is dried out and falling apart (picture 13). Weirdly, all the other leather tabs are in good shape. The interior drawstring and wooden keeper our present as are the one at the bottom and the one at the collar. Someone named Gordon wrote their name on the inside of the collar. There is some stamp there that reads USVA. It does not appear to be an original manufacturer stamp. There's a pocket tag but it's washed out there is a size tag down at the bottom where that drawstring is, but it's washed out as well. That one's on the inside. All the buttons are present. The stitching is good. If not for that damage on the shoulder and one little rub on the hem of the right sleeve, about where a person's wrist is or mid forearm is, this thing would have no real damage issues. It measures 28 inches across the chest at the armpits. I have no idea what size that is supposed to be but it's big but also these were intended to wear over lots of under layers. There is no indication that any sort of fur trim was ever sown around the hood edge. There are no stitch tracks and no alteration showing.
