The top fabric portion of the duvet is a very nice thick cotton fabric ~ similar to corduroy ~ velvety and luxurious.

The design reminds me of a Persian style rug. There is navy blue twisted accent cording all around the perimeter.

Also clever little openings on each corn with a internal tie-down feature to keep your down comforter stable.
