1962 Press Photo Search Party for Man and Girl After Shooting, Medora, Kansas

Medora, Kansas: A small contingent of highway patrolmen and sheriff's officers assemble early Monday 7/16 on state highway 61 near Medora, to search for the man and girl who shot and killed a WaKeeney policeman and wounded the Trego County sheriff. Dogs assisting in search in densely wooded area led to discovery of footprints that are believed to be those of the sought pair. Photo measures 10.5 x 8 inches. Photo Is dated 1962.
