This is a very unusual wooden box or chest.
I have never seen another like it.
It is a novelty stack of books, the end of each book pulls out to reveal a drawer.
This is all hand painted.
This is a vintage item, I guess it dates to the 1950's or 60's.
Height is 7 and a quarter inches. Width is 5 and a quarter inches. Depth is 3 and a half inches.
This is a vintage used item so age related wear, some dings and marks in places.
