I have an Acura RSX Type-S Air box for sale. The thing is, it's a mish-mash of 05-06 and 02-04 parts. I will explain the parts in the listing below.
- Upper half of the cover is 17202-PRA-010. The cover has the larger breather tube nipple to the side.
- Bottom half is 17201-PNA-000. The bottom half is the same for all RSX models (base and Type S, as well as 02-06).
- The mounting screw is 90001-PNA-000
The rubber tube attached to the top half of the air box is universal for Type-S models: 17228-PRB-A01. This listing will come with two, as well as the metal clamps on the outside. One of the tubes also has a plastic clamp.
The intake/snorkel is from an 02-04 RSX Type S. They attach to the bottom of the air box. There are two components:
- The rubber bit is 17251-PRB-A00
- The solid plastic bit is 17252-PRB-A00
I'm also including the rubber part of the snorkel for an 05-06 RSX Type S: 17251-PRC-010. It probably won't find much use without the other counterpart, 17252-PRC-000 (this was lost so I had to utilize the 02-04 snorkel).
Despite the differences, this air box will bolt onto any RSX Type-S without any issues. I actually find the 02-04 intake to have a more aggressive VTEC crossover than the 05-06 intake.
It is missing a few hardware components, but you should be able to purchase them from Honda/Acura dealers. It does not have a breather tube, you'll need 17153-PND-A00. It is mostly a complete set, and it should have just about everything you need if you are looking for a stock air box for an Acura RSX Type-S.
