Up for Sale is a
Vintage 1970's Dixon DG21 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar!

Made In Japan! VERY RARE!!!

This is really cool. You are looking at a Vintage 1970's Dixon DG21 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar. Rare find. This is a really nice great sounding Dreadnought. Very Affordable. Makes a perfect Beach or Camping Guitar.

Dixon Legend:  These guitars were designed by the original designer of Gibson guitars. There was a dispute over Gibson not noting him as the creator and he was forced out of the business partnership with Gibson leaving him without royalties from Gibson and was told never to build the design again. He went to Japan and created the Dixon brand and upgraded his designs. They sounded better than Gibson but the body shape was modeled after his older ones and soon Gibson took out a lawsuit against him. His company was ruined. Gibson started buying any Dixon guitars they could find and would destroy them in an attempt to erase any memory of Dixon. Gibson did such a great job erasing them that there are only a few collectors in the country who know anything about them and the real value.

Nothing sounds as good as aged wood and this Dixon is all there. Has great sound projection and some really great sparkle as well as some low end. Very well built Japanese guitar. Sounds AWESOME!!!

Nut Width: 1 5/8"

Cosmetics: Very Good Condition. Keep in mind that this is a 50+ year old vintage guitar that has been played.  The Top has some light strumming scratches on the pickguard. There are several small pencil point dings. But overall, the Top is pretty clean. The Back has some marks from being held next to the player's body. Neck and Fingerboard  in great shape. Headstock has binding missing. (See picture #9).  Chipboard Case has some scuffs scratches and minor tears in the tolex. All latches work. This is a very solid used guitar. Dripping with "Mojo" Look at the pictures closely. They will tell the story.

Our luthier did a complete setup. Brand new strings were installed. Gig ready on Arrival!

Complete Package with Chipboard Case Included!
