Offered is a rare WW1 Turkish Ottoman Empire Cavalry sword, which was made under German contract by Carl Eichhorn of Germany for issue to Turkish cavalry troops during the first world war and Gallipoli.

Features a steel basket hilt guard with Islamic star and moon pierced into the face of the guard. Checked wooden grips with light period service wear. Over German makers details with manufacturer stamps to the ricasso. Blade surface shows light age wear and period edge sharpening. SWORD DOESNT HAVE THE STEEL SCABBARD- I AM SELLING ONLY THE SWORD.
