A beautiful example of a patchwork quilt in an octagonal star pattern with 16 points in each star, expertly designed and handmade.  The colors are very fresh and vivid.  It is edged in red and backed in white. This generously-sized quilt is likely for a double bed but can be used on a queen as you can see from the photographs that were taken on a queen bed. 

The condition is excellent.  We find some light spotting in one corner (see photos).
