This is a woodblock print of "Lantern Shop" by Hiroshi Yoshida.
Yoshida Hiroshi is popular both in Japan and abroad for his realistic and lyrical landscape paintings.
This work depicts a craftsman painting the lanterns that adorn a town.
Signed in pencil in the lower right margin and titled "Lantan maker" on the left.
There is a self-printing seal.
The paper is slightly foxed due to age, and there are a few edge tears.
The paper is in good condition with no other major discoloration or creases.
