W&LT: Designer (Walter Van Beirendonck) was born in Brecht, Belgium. In 1986, he exhibited at the London Collections with five fellow students from the Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts, where they received great acclaim and were dubbed the “Antwerp 6”. W&LT started in 1993, W&LT stands for “Wild And Lethal Trash”.
