The Victorinox Spartan Swiss Army Knife incorporates a feature-set of 13 functions catered to the active outdoors person. "Officier Suisse," which is stamped on the base of the main blade of many modern models of Victorinox Swiss Army knives, refers to the second knife ever produced by Victorinox, the Officer's Knife, which was patented in 1897.
