About Payment & Collection
Collection is Thursday 8am - 12pm from TS12 2ZJ by appointment only - check our main site for details. This is the only day we work in the North East. Weekend/Evening collections are never possible as we don’t live near where items are stored
If you are using your own courier, please make sure they know our collection day as it won’t change
We will not wrap your item for your courier (this is for insurance purposes) – our courier uses his own transport blankets, straps and protection so we have to assume yours will do the same
We will store for free for 3 weeks then send to a storage company who charge £1 per day per item. In short communicate with us – don’t buy then ignore emails to collect / arrange freight
During March 2022 – August 2023 99.7% of customers used our delivery service, so we will be changing to Delivery Only by December 2023.
We do not accept cash for any transaction – to checkout please use the eBay payment system as it protects both you and us.
When you win an item you will get an email advising you of how to proceed. In short send your address and mobile and we will arrange everything – there is nothing you need to do. Once we get a slot (within the lead times we advertise not before) we will email you and send you details on how to pay your delivery fee direct on the couriers website. We will never invoice you for freight through ebay as they charge commission and we not want to pass that cost on to you.

Can I view your item?
. We are open Thursday 8am – 12pm for viewings by appointment only. Ebay does not allow us to publish our address or send you our address in a message or we will receive a strike - honesty that is ridiculous! But a simple search on our name will allow you to see where we are. We have items stored all over the UK so we may need a week to have your chosen item brought up to Skelton, please don't assume it will be there and come without checking as you could be wasting your trip

About Vintage Home Stores
We are very different to all other sellers on ebay as selling is not our main role in fact it accounts for less than 10% of our income. This is one of the reasons why our collections and terms are so precise and our opening times are limited. We supply props throughout the UK and use eBay and our really really really busy main site to clear those props we no longer need. Our team could be working anywhere in the UK doing what we do, so we will never have people sitting round on the off chance someone turns up to see a chair. As we don’t have to pay staff for sitting around and we don’t have a shop to run, we can afford to sell our items cheaper than anyone in the UK, plus we can also afford to offer a dedicated Delivery Service which is also the cheapest in the UK. So by adapting our eBay business to run around our main business, we can continue to offer an incredible service which is clearly highlighted in the feedback we have – check it out.

Contract is to the ground floor entry point - each driver is amazing and will always help you – read our feedback
You are responsible for advising the closest LEGAL parking point.
One man so assistance with large items is always required – we never advertise a 2-man service so please do assume you will get one as you won’t. If you need a 2 man service please arrange your own courier and let them know collection is Thursdays 8am-12pm from TS12 2ZJ
Please accept the first date they give you, if you don't it's another 7-21 days
All of our Delivery Prices are really clearly laid out on every listing so you know how much delivery will cost you before you bid
Buying multiple items? It will obviously be more than one item - ZONE A no extra charge, Zone B £5 per additional item, ZONE C £15 per additional item, Zone D £20 per additional item, ZONE E £25 per additional item (max 3 additional items per order)
EXCLUDES WARDROBES, DRESSERS AND SOFAS WHICH ARE FULL RATE DUE TO THEIR SIZE
Access needs to be suitable for 3.5 ton - 7.5 ton vehicle if not, please make arrangements
