Thank you for viewing this item

This Ireland Staehle St. Patrick's Day Cover from 1957 features a beautiful image of Donegal Castle. It is one of a series of commemorative covers designed and produced by L.W. Staehle, in collaboration with John J. Clark and the Eire Philatelic Association, between 1952 and 1971. The information card is included.
The hand-stamped cancellation adds a unique touch to this rare piece of Irish history. The cover is in very fine condition and is a must-have for any stamp collector or history enthusiast. The currency is pre-decimal and the certification is uncertified. This cover was manufactured in Ireland and is a great addition to any collection featuring St. Patrick or Irish culture. This older cover from the series is quite rare.
