John Dewar was born 10 August 1896 Falkirk, Scotland and was a Chemist by Occupation when he attested on 28 July 1915 at Smiths Falls, Ontario. Served a very short time at the front and was diagnosed with weakness of the hands and medically discharged 26/6/1917 with intended residence Vancouver, B.C.
