Constantine I, 307/310-337. Follis (Bronze, 20 mm, 2.80 g, 6 h), Constantinopolis, 328-329. CONSTANTI-NVS MAX AVG Rosette-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Constantine I to right. Rev. CONSTANTINI-ANA DAFNE / CONS• Victory seated left on decorated cippus, head turned right, holding laurel branch in her right hand and palm frond in her left; at her feet, shield; to left, trophy; before, captive kneeling left, head turned right; in field to left, A. RIC -, cf. p. 575 note 38. Very rare. Struck from a somewhat worn and clashed reverse die, otherwise, good very fine.

The emission 'CONS•' was not included in RIC VII. It is, however, a complete emission, and just like the 'CONS' and the 'CONS✱' emissions, it consisted of 'DAFNE' coins for Constantine I (officinae A, B, D, E & Z) and 'PROVIDENTIAE' coins for the two Caesars (G struck for Constantine Caesar and S for Constantius).
