How To Use:
1. Verify that the vehicle is parked on a level surface.
2. Remove dipstick tube cap.
3. Engage parking brake. Start Transmission and let it idle with gear selector in the park position.
4. Shift the transmission lever through the gears several times with the vehicle stationary and Transmission iding.
5. Bring the vehicle up to operating temperature and check fluid level with oil dipstick. Push dipstick into transmission fill tube until it bottoms out against the transmission pan and pull out, read fluid level.
NOTE: The dipstick will protrude from oil tube when installed.
6. Check transmission fluid temperature using a scan tool.
NOTE: Accurate transmission fluid temperature can only be obtained by using a scan too with the transmission irreversible or any forward gear position.
7. The transmission dipstick has level indicator lines every 10mm. Check fluid level on dipstick; determine proper fluid level using the correct fluid level chart for your vehicle.
8. Adjust fluid level as necessary and recheck level.
9. Install dipstick tube cap after checking fluid level.
Notes For CVT:
1. After checking the fluid level, please reinstall the original plastic plug.
2. All dimensions are measured by hand, there may be small deviations.
3. Please check the type of your transmission before purchasing the dipstick.
4. The real color of the item may be slightly different from the pictures shown on website caused by many factors such as brightness of your monitor and light brightness.
5. The dipstick is a professional tool for both commercial or occasional use. For checking fluid levels only, not recommended to drive with this dipstick in tube (Corrosion on the stick due to CVT fluid vapor and the still part separation from black plastic holder and falling inside of CVT is possible).
