Antique C.A. Lehmann & Sohn cracker/biscuit jar, c.1895, beautifully hand painted with red roses on a green background, accented with gold. Made of elegant porcelain, in wonderful vintage condition.

Research has conflicting information on the dates. The mark on this piece has the banner under the castle with C.A.L & S which was the original mark, the mark with the word "Germany" was added in early 1900s; this is where I found conflicting info. I found C.A. Lehmann & Sohn created in 1895, however others indicate this original mark being from prior to 1890.
