Vintage HALLOWEEN -  Dennison USA - SCARCE Green Beaked OWL Die-Cut Decoration - NICE. Measures 8.5" high and 8" wide. Though unmarked, it was produced by Dennison out of Framingham, MA. The company began in 1844 and by the turn of the century, covered 16 acres and employed 3000 (about 1/3 of the city's population). In 1909 Dennison produced its first Halloween decoration and the rest is history.  This owl, for whatever reasons, was a limited production number and occasionally comes to market. There are currently no examples, in any condition, listed on eBay worldwide.
