An old Pulvex Flea & Louse Powder container that is metal on the top and bottom, but could be a thick cardboard tube, not sure.  

Copyright year is on the container : 1948 William Cooper & Nephews Inc.  3 3/5 Oz.  It's approx. 4 1/2" tall and 2 1/2" in diameter.  Seems like it may have all or partial contents because if it was empty I'm assuming it would be lighter. It weighs 4.8 oz.  It seems to be solid...nothing rattling around.  

It says it's 1% Rotenone which is extremely dangerous to pets!  This is being sold as a collectible and is definitely not intended for use.  The metal top has darkened with age and there are a few rusty spots... as well as on the bottom.  (See photos). The container is in excellent condition...no brown spots or stains.  

It would make a great addition to your collection!
