L'Altair 8800 è stato uno dei primo computer immessi sul mercato in Kit di montaggio.
I quegli anni agli appassionati di elettronica piaceva costruire il proprio PC e sperimentare nuove configurazioni.
Se stai leggendo questo annuncio probabilmente appartieni alla stessa stessa specia di appassionati e se possiedi già l'Altair 8800 Replica basato su Arduino che puoi trovare al seguente link, molto probabilmente questo accessorio è fatto per te.

Si tratta del BUS di espansione per L'Altair che puoi trovare al Link sopra, è sufficiente collegarlo con il cavo in dotazione all'unità centrale e il gioco è fatto.
Il box di espansione può alloggiare fini a 5 schede ognuna con una funzione specifica e possono essere controllate dall'unità centrale. E' alimentato direttamente dall'unità centrale, ed è possibile selezionare come sorgente sia l'Arduino che l'alimentazione diretta tramite un semplice Jumper (soluzione consigliata quando si devono alimentare più schede o schede che richiedono più corrente di quanta riesce a fornirne l'Arduino), quindi nessun limite !!
Il BUS è stato progettato dal mitico David Hansel, colui che ha ideato l'emulatore ed è compatibile con tutte le sue schede, di seguito un elenco delle schede che possono essere usate con questo Box di espansione:

Altair 8800 Replica I/O BUS Expansion Port (AltairDuino)
The Altair 8800 was one of the first computers released in Kit.

This is the expansion BUS for the Altair that you can find at the link above, simply connect it with the supplied cable to the central unit and you're done.
The expansion box can accommodate up to 5 cards each with a specific function and can be controlled from the central unit. It is powered directly by the central unit, and it is possible to select both the Arduino and direct power supply as the source via a simple jumper (recommended solution when you need to power multiple boards or boards that require more current than the Arduino can supply). So no limits!!
The BUS was designed by the legendary David Hansel, the one who created the emulator and is compatible with all of his cards. Below is a list of the cards that can be used with this expansion box:
