This is one of a number of WW2 RAF items that I have recently acquired from the family of a crewmember of a Stirling Bomber during WW2.

This is an original WW2 era pocket escape compass.
These were known as escape compasses due to their small size, they could be easily conceled.
This is made from bakelite or economy plastic and based on the Boy Scout Design compass from the 1920's.
An original vintage item this has age related wear.
