Rare Edo period gold brocade Obi. Phoenix bird bamboo and flower motif.

Very old piece of textile. Shows past repairs. Front has faded and has spots and soil edge. Also frayed edge on one end.

The reverse side is doubled over and still retains the rich green natural color.
