Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) Slim (160 GB HDD, Model No. CECH-2501A) in GREAT condition! Appears to have almost never been used. Cosmetically it looks like a new console. These were produced from 2009 - 2012. The 2501A is considered by some to be one of the best and most desirable PS3 consoles to own (aside from the very first original fat models which were backwards compatible and thus collectible and quite expensive).

Internal components (fan, power supply, optical drive) have been thoroughly checked, tested, cleaned & sanitized. Housing/shell and air vents have been cleaned/sanitized, inside and out.

Console HDD has CFW installed for 4.90 OS which allows for dozens of features such as dynamic fan control, complete HDD/file management, customizable themes, backwards compatibility options, and ability to play/save/copy backups of your PS1 / PS2 / PS3 games. Games can be ripped and saved to the HDD. Has all the basic programs and apps pre-installed to get you started right out of the box. USB Drive or console’s Internet Browser can be used to download and install additional functionalities as needed.

Console already has eight PS3 games from my collection installed on the HDD ready to play (can be easily removed if desired). **If there is a game you are just dying to play, shoot us a note. We own lots of games, we can probably find a way to include it for you.**

Playing online is at your own risk. Make sure to learn about how to play online safely and minimize your risk using the advanced CFW tools. **Any automatic updates should remain toggled to ‘off’ indefinitely. Even if the console prompts you to update, do NOT update the system software.**

We are currently working on creating a short instruction sheet, however everything you need to know about the PS3’s CFW is available online and on YouTube. There is an official Ussr Manual installed on the Home Screen. A quick Google search will bring up thousands of videos and other results that will show you anything you want to know about saving/playing/copying your games, utilizing the many different apps, updating themes, playing online, etc. We’ve updated the PS3 browser to use the free app store as the home page, so it’s really easy to go there and explore.
